The Apple Car may be getting tested in Arizona right now and this sounds like a conspiracy
So, Apple has a lot going on for 2023. We’re all eager to see the latest iPhone and iPad models, but even more excited to hear more about the Vision Pro. I mean, Apple makes some of the best phone on the regular, but the company doesn’t step into an entirely new product category every other day.
The official reveal of the Vision Pro during WWDC of 2023 was an important step up. And while we’re fully prepared to hear a lot more about it before eventually getting our hands on it, and then following how the headset as it improves, we’re pretty sure that Apple hasn’t left the stove cold.
I mean, if it took this long before the Vision Pro became revealed, then the next big thing should already be in the works right?
And now for something completely different: Arizona. Have you been there? Have you seen a UFO? Have you met someone who’s been there and seen a UFO?! Likely. These stories aren’t rare and we even got a brand new term fairly recently: UAP.
But people in the region — or those traveling through it — may start reporting new types of sightings soon. UVOs. Because, if Car And Driver is correct, then Apple is apparently testing smart cars out there.
Supposedly, the spot where UVOs are most active. Also, they may be testing the Apple Car out there.
Okay, so. Let’s break this down:
- UAP — unidentified aerial phenomena
- UFO — unidentified flying object
- UVO — unidentified vehicular object
And I only say “unidentified”, because “the Apple Car” sounds silly and the Cupertino Company hasn’t exactly provided us with any basis to call it otherwise.
Jokes aside, we’ve been hearing about Apple’s self-driving car project for a while now. Some people know it as “Project Titan” from way back in 2015, when it was aiming to compete with Tesla. Rumors say that we may see it for real in 2026, but what do we do until then?
Well… Something is out there being driven around. Or driving itself?
We camp out in Arizona and wait to catch a glimpse of it in Apple’s secret facility, hidden deep within the wilderness, that’s what!
(That was a joke, please don’t camp out in the Arizona wilderness in hopes of seeing UVOs. You may see a UFO instead. No guarantees.)
Well, we probably wont, but Apple may be somewhere out there, testing its probably not-actually-apple-flavored Apple Car, which is cool. I mean, if it is being tested, then we may actually hear more about it before 2026. It would certainly be interesting to see what the Big A’s version of a smart car would look like.
Oh, then there’s the conspiracy part.
Some say that this is an Apple Car test unit.
Car and Driver’s team managed to maybe connect Apple to this testing facility, which — in all honesty — we don’t know that much about. TL;DR: it may belong to Ken Lynch, who also happens to work at Apple. In the not-so-minor role of the head of Project Titan. Coincidence? You decide.
* queue X-files jingle *
While there are signs pointing to Apple actually being in Arizona in order to actually test their Apple Car prototype, we can’t say anything for certain. After all, all signs point to us not being alone in the universe either, but most of us haven’t seen actual aliens anytime soon, right?
